Event Information
The Idaho District Export Council is excited to present this workshop about Incoterms and How They Benefit Your Business. The event features long-time IDEC member and Incoterms expert Karen Jones, an adjunct professor at the Boise State University College of Business and Economics. The workshop runs from 10 - 11 am MST in the Lewis and Clark Room on the 6th floor of the Zions Bank Building at 800 W Main in Boise and Online. The cost of the event is $25 per person.
Incoterms are a set of 11 individual rules issued by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) that define the responsibilities of sellers and buyers to sell goods in international transactions. Of primary importance is that each Incoterms rule clarifies the tasks, costs, and risks to be borne by buyers and sellers in these transactions.
Karen will draw from her depth of knowledge and years of practical experience to familiarize attendees with Incoterms, which will help create smoother international transactions by clearly defining who is responsible for what and each step of the transaction.
